Product description
Large art deco black lacquered wood lamp base, circa 1930, baluster shape resting on a cylindrical base. Custom-made lampshade by certified craftsman: flat pleated couture lampshade, black silk on the outside and white muslin on the inside, highlighted by vintage blue-black and beige woven braid.
Clean, functional electrification: new black twisted fabric wire, new black bakelite ignition knob and plug socket, also new. New black E27 lampholder.
In very good condition, with a slight crack in the wood at the neck of the lamp base.
Gives off a lovely warm light when lit, the fabric allowing the light to pass through easily.
