Product description
Beautiful, large and authentic Art Deco vase by the renowned Belgian ceramist Roger Guérin (1896–1954), manufactured in Bouffioulx.
This impressive and rarer model of art pottery (Gres d'art) immediately stands out due to its substantial size and the specific finish with three ears (handles).
The vase is executed in a traditional salt glaze technique with deep blue cobalt stamp decorations and circular motifs, inspired by historical Westerwald stoneware.
The underside is fully legitimate and hand-signed with the incised original signature 'Guérin' and the model number V30BX.
A monumental and beautiful collector's item for lovers of Belgian ceramics, Art Deco and brutalist or rural design!
