This is a vintage two-armed wall lamp, crafted in the Art Deco style during the 1970s. The piece features a strong, symmetrical design that evokes the classic elegance of early 20th-century lighting fixtures, reinterpreted through a mid-century lens.
Constructed from brass, the sconce is composed of a central semi-cylindrical wall mount from which two horizontal arms extend, each terminating in a vertical, candle-like holder. The design accommodates two flame-tipped bulbs, which cast a warm and inviting ambient light. The fixture's clean lines and metallic finish make it a distinct and functional decorative element.
The lamp is presented in good vintage condition, showing a characterful patina that has developed naturally over time. This aged finish on the brass surface is consistent with its history and use, contributing to its authentic vintage appeal. The structural integrity of the piece remains solid.
With its refined silhouette, this wall sconce is well-suited for adding a touch of classic glamour to a variety of spaces. It would function effectively as accent lighting in a hallway, living room, or bedroom, and complements interiors ranging from Art Deco and Hollywood Regency to more traditional or eclectic settings.
