Condition: good condition - used with small signs of age and spots - sugar bowl has a wafer-thin bend on the rim, but not disturbing
Special Art Deco style coffee and tea set - bakelite handles on the 2 lids - also resembles the Memphis Milano style - A nice acquisition and in excellent condition considering its age.
The German designer Hans Przyrembel studied at the Bauhaus from 1924 to 1928. There he worked in the metal department, but later focused on lighting. He worked with Marianne Brandt, among others. In 1929, Przyrembel founded his own workshop. When the Second World War broke out, he joined the army. He most likely died in captivity.
