Made by Alphonse Mouton in the 1930s-1950s in Saint Vallier (southeast France).
Art Deco stoneware reminiscent of stylized berluze onions, from the early 20th century.
Fused metallic oxide glazes with light nucleation. Bluish tones, ranging to green through beige.
Signed "Alpho art stoneware" on the base.
