Product description
Magnificent pair of Art Deco Wall lights (1930s), from the prestigious Parisian art foundry Peuch & Besse. The solid cast art bronze frame features a superb pyramidal diamond geometric decoration typical of the modernist movement of this decade. Each wall plate is stamped with the founder's embossed mark « P B » under the arms next to the fixing hole (see photos). The original silvering shows a beautiful color and shine with a slight patina of time here and there. The original « skyscrapers » globes in molded-pressed opaline, straw yellow / amber in color. Their fluted and faceted shape diffuses a warm light and creates a striking contrast with the shiny silver of the bronze. Very good general condition (reasonable time patina), work with bayonet bulbs (B22) Height: 27cm Width: 12.5cm Depth: 19cm Fast and careful shipping
