Product description
Art deco, vintage, English, silver plated, 6 slice toast rack/ toast holder, circa 1930's - 1940's.
Piece is well made, with a design typical of the epoch. It has a triangular-shaped handle and rests on 4, balled feet (see photos.)
Piece is in overall very good, near mint, original and vintage condition, with very light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, on the overall structure, racks, base and balled feet (see photos.) It has only been gently cleaned with respect to its original patina of time. A practical, classic, retro piece, that can be used as intended, that could also be used to hold mail, napkins, or displayed as a collectible piece for a cabinet of curiosities or shelf decor. All photos taken in natural, indoor light, so colors may vary, based upon brightness, reflections, shadows, angles and perspective in which they are viewed.
