About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is an authentic Art Deco bowl by the English brand Carlton Ware, executed in the famous 'Bleu Royale' color scheme. The piece embodies the elegance of the period with its deep, glossy blue glaze and refined gold accents.
The bowl is crafted from high-quality ceramic and features an organic, oval shape with a scalloped edge finished with a gold trim. A characteristic detail is the geometric, stepped handle, decorated with gold and black bands. The underside is marked with 'Carlton Ware', 'Made in England', and the model name 'Bleu Royale', confirming its authenticity and origin.
The overall condition of the bowl is very good, consistent with its age. The glaze on the main surface has retained its deep color and shine. The underside shows a fine craquelure pattern, which is characteristic of ceramics from this period and contributes to the object's vintage character.
This decorative bowl is an elegant statement piece for a sideboard, console, or dining table. It fits seamlessly into a classic, eclectic, or Art Deco-inspired interior and can be used both functionally and decoratively.
