This 1920s Art Deco desk set combines the rich elegance of Portoro marble with a finely cast bronze elephant figure. It's a classic example of early twentieth-century office accessories, bringing a touch of architectural grandeur and sculptural interest to the workspace. Crafted from striking black Portoro marble with its characteristic gold and white veining, the set includes a substantial base with an integrated double inkwell, pen rests, a matching letter rack, and a rocker blotter. The bronze elephant stands proudly on the main base, adding a distinctive character to the geometric stone forms. The original manufacturer's label remains intact on the underside, confirming its authentic Portoro marble construction. The set remains in excellent vintage condition, retaining its original finish and a natural patina on the bronze elements. It shows character consistent with a century of use, preserving its historical charm. This piece anchors a classic executive desk or a modern home office setup. It pairs effortlessly with warm wood tones and brass accents, adding a sense of history and weight to your daily workspace.
