Product description
This mirror is approx 100 years old. The frame is made of wrought iron, hence the weight of 6 pounds. The plate is wonderfully weathered, and has a beautiful patina. The mirror hangs from a sturdy chain, which is also original and was added to the mirror during the making process. The decoration consists of stylishly shaped flowers. The plate hangs loose in the frame and is held in place on the back side with some lugs.
Due to its age, there are a few minimal chips in the edge of the glass, but that, along with the scratches in the silver coating, actually adds to the appeal of the mirror. Technically and aesthetically, the mirror is in very good condition.
