Art Deco Marble Inkwell / Desk Set – c. 1930
Beautiful authentic Art Deco inkwell in pink marble or travertine, dating from the first half of the 20th century. This decorative desk object combines functionality with the characteristic sleek geometric design of the Art Deco period.
The heavy marble construction gives the whole a luxurious appearance. The inkwell features a hinged lid and is integrated into a practical desk base with a pen holder. Today, this piece is not only a collector's item but also a particularly decorative accent for a desk, library, or interior in vintage or Art Deco style.
The original inner pot is missing, which is common for such ink sets of this age. The object is otherwise in beautiful vintage condition with normal signs of use and age appropriate for its age.
