This mantel clock was manufactured by the German clockmaker Friedrich Mauthe. The piece is a characteristic example of the Art Deco style, with its elongated and geometric silhouette and dark wooden case. The clock's case is made of wood with a dark finish, contrasting with the dial. The dial itself features a copper-colored background, golden numerals and hands, and is protected by glass. The mechanical brass mechanism is visible at the back and comes with its original winding key and pendulum. The overall condition of this clock is good, in accordance with its age.
