This elegant pair of Dutch Art Deco lounge chairs exemplifies the refined craftsmanship and restrained sophistication that characterise the finest furniture from the interwar period. Attributed to the renowned Dutch manufacturer Pander & Zonen, the chairs feature gracefully curved rich hardwooden frames combined with beautifully proportioned armrests and a subtle architectural silhouette.
Their timeless design strikes a perfect balance between the geometric principles of the Dutch Art Deco movement and the softer, more inviting lines that emerged during the late 1920s and early 1930s. The warm wooden frame contrasts beautifully with the original olive green velvet upholstery, which enhances their understated elegance and authentic period character.
