This set of a ceiling lamp and a ceiling light were manufactured in the art deco period (1920s-30s). Attributed to Hans Altea, a Dutch lamp/glass designer. The tassels/wires (commonly found hanging under these lamps) have probably been lost over the years. The glass is made of burned/smoked glass, a technique that was widely used for lamps in Haarlem and the surrounding area. Tuschinski in Amsterdam also had these lamps. The glass is in excellent condition, slight signs of use on the brass suspension part of the extendable ceiling lamp. The fixtures were adapted to current standards in the 1950s, e27 socket european. The price is for the se. Not all of our items are on bid or have automatic price reduction. Please feel free to contact us. Delivery is possible (depending on location, also ask about the attractive delivery conditions in the Netherlands), pick up or by courier of your choice.
Very light shear marks here and there on the brass. Minimal.
