Product description
Clear glass Art Deco fruit bowl from the Luxval collection of 1935. It is no. 38 Coupe Marcelle, designed by Charles Graffart, a bowl with a satin-finished base and handles, Val Saint Lambert, circa 1935. It still has the original maker's sticker, which is rare.
This bowl is made of pressed glass. Pressed glass typically has small imperfections, glass lines, and small air bubbles. These are not considered damage but rather a way to demonstrate authenticity.
The origin of this bowl can be found in the LUXVAL catalog published in 1935. This series was released in six different colors and is highly sought after by collectors.
The bowl is in very good vintage condition, with signs of age and use consistent with its age and material, such as some minor, shallow scratches, but nothing obtrusive. Please see the photos for more details!
