This classic Art Deco desk combines a robust design with refined details. The design is characterized by rounded corners and a symmetrical structure with two drawer units, typical of the furniture style of this period.
The desk is crafted from warm walnut wood and features striking brass handles that stand out beautifully against the wood. The piece consists of two drawer units and a separate top, which facilitates transport. An authentic label from Office Equipment Co. in London confirms its provenance. The desk was purchased about thirty years ago from a specialized Art Deco dealer in Amsterdam.
The furniture is in a condition befitting its age and use. Over the years, the walnut wood has developed a warm patina that enhances the character of this historic piece.
