Product description
Rare and very decorative ceramic duck by the French ceramist George Cassin (signed “G. Cassin” on the bottom). The sculpture dates from the late Art Deco / early Mid Century Modern period (approx. 1940–1950) and stands out for its sleek, stylized form and striking turquoise/blue craquelure glaze.
The duck stands firmly on large webbed feet, with an elegantly curved neck and an almost cartoon-like gaze – a true statement piece in a cabinet, on a dresser or in a minimalist interior.
