Private sellerProduct description
This table lamp by Polam exemplifies the enduring appeal of mid-century lighting design. Produced in the 1950s, the piece features a distinctive curved metal arm that suspends a delicate glass shade, creating a balanced and elegant silhouette. The lamp is constructed with a chrome-finished metal base and arm, paired with a mottled white glass shade that diffuses light softly. The base incorporates a simple push-button switch, characteristic of the era's functional design approach. The manufacturer's mark is visible on the underside, confirming its origins and 220V specification. The piece remains in good vintage condition, retaining its original character and structural integrity. The metal components display a natural patina developed over decades, while the glass shade is preserved without significant damage. This lamp serves as a refined accent piece for a desk, bedside table, or sideboard. Its classic Art Deco-inspired lines allow it to integrate seamlessly into both vintage-inspired and contemporary interiors.
