Product description
For sale is an extremely rare Art déco / Bauhaus Table lamp from the 1920s or 1930s, especially in this condition. It is attributed as an early design by the Bauhaus artist Marianne Brandt.
The lamp is in excellent condition. The Bakelite of the shade and stand is flawless. The lampshade is adjustable and holds any position it is tilted into.
Of this already very rare lamp, it is one of the very few examples where the Bakelite color of the lampshade and lamp neck is exactly the same, where the brass ring is still present on the lampshade, and the lampshade has not been replaced by any other shade.
The lamp has been carefully cleaned of decades of old dirt and has been rewired. Now this almost 100-year-old lamp shines again in new splendor.
Height 43 cm, Width 20 cm, Depth 34 cm
As this is a private sale, any liability for material defects, warranty, and returns are excluded.
