Product description
This is a set of eight vintage fondue plates, manufactured in Italy by Italora. Designer Joe Colombo. These pieces are an excellent example of functional European design from the mid-twentieth century. The design, known as the 'Arno' model, is specifically intended for convivial dining and reflects the popularity of fondue and raclette during that period.
Each plate is made of clear, pressed glass and has a distinctive square shape with rounded corners. The surface is practically divided into different compartments, ideal for separating sauces, meat, and side dishes. Production in Italy guarantees quality and a refined aesthetic typical of Italian glassware from that era.
Each plate is very subtly marked with 'Italy', see photo
The set is in used condition, retaining the original clarity and structure of the glass.
Small chips and scratches.
