A masterpiece of Danish design: This Arne Vodder desk, Model 209, was designed for Sibast and is among the most characteristic executive desks of Danish mid-century design. This particular piece was produced in 1970, verifiable by the original control card with a date stamp of November 26, 1970. The generous L-shape combines an imposing work surface with an integrated sideboard on the right side. Drawers, storage space, and the distinctive curved document trays together form a practical yet playful ensemble. The open storage space with colored document trays adds a playful accent among the warm tones of the teak. The warm teak, the raised edges of the work surface, floating volumes, and slender legs make this Arne Vodder desk a special sight from every angle. The desk is in beautiful, excellent condition and has been professionally restored where necessary. The tops have been re-lacquered, allowing the warm color and lively grain of the teak to shine beautifully again, while retaining its original character.
