Product description
Set of 4 Danish dining chairs by Arne Vodder, model 430 for Sibast, designed in 1960. The chairs are a good example of Mid-century Modern Danish design.
The craftsmanship of these chairs is evident in their design, construction, the use of solid rosewood, and the beautiful joints. The seats are upholstered in black wool worsted fabric. The floating seats with a seat height of 46 cm and the curved backrest provide good ergonomic seating comfort.
The set is in good used condition, retaining its original finish and the characteristic patina of the rosewood. The construction is sturdy and the upholstery is used but presentable, indicating careful use over the years. One of the chairs has a visible repair, see last photo.
I also have a matching rosewood dining table by Arne Vodder for Sibast for sale, see my other listings.
