The 'Pompon' armchair, produced by Ceriotti in Italy in the 1970s, embodies the radical aesthetic of Italian design from that period, where comfort and structural expression meet. This model is distinguished by its entirely upholstered and ruched leather work, creating generous and enveloping volumes. At the back, a visible chromed tubular metal structure encircles the armchair, held in place by a system of leather straps with buckles. This detail, both functional and decorative, defines the model's identity and evokes Italian research into 'architectural' furniture, where construction becomes an aesthetic language.
