Designed by Ludvik Volak in the 1970s, this armchair originates from Czechoslovakia and was created for the Bratislava Airport. The design reflects Volak’s architectural approach, emphasizing clean geometry and functional form typical of Central European modernism.
The chair features a solid wooden frame paired with newly upholstered textile seating. Its proportions and craftsmanship highlight the durability and comfort of mid-century production. The piece is undamaged and remains structurally sound with updated upholstery for everyday use.
