Product description
Designed by Pierre Paulin for Artifort in the 1960s, the Concorde armchair is one of the French designer's most iconic creations. Its organic and enveloping silhouette, characterized by a suspended seat and a backrest with fluid curves, testifies to Paulin's constant pursuit of comfort and modernity. This version is upholstered in an elegant original navy blue fabric that emphasizes the purity of its lines and enhances its sculptural appeal. Resting on a white lacquered metal base, the armchair offers a graphic contrast characteristic of 1960s design. Both comfortable and visually spectacular, the Concorde stands out as a true functional sculpture, capable of bringing a strong presence to a contemporary interior as well as to a 20th-century design collection.
