Arhat Sculpture on Dano – Gilded Bronze from the Himalayas
Powerfully executed Himalayan sculpture of an Arhat on a Dano, crafted from cast bronze with remnants of gilding and polychrome details. Weighing 3.4 kg and measuring 25 cm wide, this is a compact yet sturdy object with a distinct presence. The depiction shows an Arhat, an enlightened disciple within the Buddhist tradition. Arhats symbolize wisdom, discipline, spiritual mastery, and the overcoming of inner turmoil.
