Product description
The Arflex Prive armchair, designed by Pablo Nava, presents a striking silhouette defined by its architectural use of materials. This piece exemplifies late twentieth-century Italian design, combining structural innovation with a bold aesthetic presence.
Constructed with a robust metal frame, the chair features distinctive mesh panelling that creates a sense of visual lightness despite its substantial form. The seat and frame edges are upholstered in black leather, providing a tactile contrast to the industrial mesh. The chair rests on circular metal feet, which anchor the dynamic, sweeping lines of the armrests and high backrest. The monochromatic black colourway enhances its sculptural qualities.
The armchair remains in good condition, retaining its structural integrity and original character. The leather upholstery shows a natural patina consistent with age and use, while the mesh panels maintain their form.
This distinctive armchair serves as a compelling focal point in contemporary or industrial interiors. Its architectural form pairs well with minimalist surroundings, offering both visual interest and functional seating in a living area or study.
In good vintage condition with signs age.
