Product description
Marenco two-seater sofa with 1 armrest on the right (facing the sofa).
Produced by the Italian manufacturer Arflex. This iconic design by Mario Marenco from 1970 is characterized by its modular construction and inviting, cushion-like shapes that immediately exude comfort.
The sofa is upholstered with the original Arflex 'Aran' fabric, a high-quality blend of viscose, polyester, cotton, and linen. The cream/light green upholstery has a linen texture that accentuates the soft, rounded lines of the design. Marenco's revolutionary concept consisted of upholstering the cushions separately and then mounting them into a metal frame, resulting in its distinctive appearance.
This specific element is a two-seater module with an armrest on one side, allowing it to be flexibly used as part of a larger arrangement or as a compact, standalone sofa.
Thanks to its timeless aesthetic and compact form, this Marenco sofa fits effortlessly into both modern and eclectic interiors. It is a classic of Italian design that adds a touch of sophistication and comfort to any living space.
The sofa has always been in a separate room and has hardly been used. No stains, no cigarette/cigar smoke, no sunlight discoloration.
Purchased on 12-11-2021.
