Product description
The 'Ypsilon' lounge chair, designed by Ulf Moritz in the 1980s, is a striking example of postmodern seating design. Its architectural silhouette and bold geometric lines make it a distinctive addition to any curated interior.
Constructed with a robust frame, the chair features a striking contrast between its black leather exterior and the textured grey fabric upholstery of the seat and backrest. The design incorporates a distinctive lumbar support cushion, seamlessly integrated into the backrest for enhanced comfort. The sweeping, angular side panels serve as both armrests and structural supports, grounding the piece with a strong visual presence.
This lounge chair remains in good condition, retaining its structural integrity and original character. The materials display a natural patina consistent with age and use, adding to its authentic vintage appeal.
The 'Ypsilon' chair is well-suited for postmodern or eclectic interiors, functioning effectively as a standalone statement piece in a living room, study, or reading corner. Its sculptural form pairs well with minimalist or industrial decor, offering both visual interest and comfortable seating.
