Archiduc armchair – Frederik Delbart for Recor
A striking Belgian design classic with a strong sculptural character. The Archiduc was designed by Belgian designer Frederik Delbart for the Belgian furniture brand Recor and combines a distinctive design with exceptional seating comfort.
The high, rounded light grey back and side panels create an intimate, almost cocoon-like seating area. The soft upholstery and loose cushions enhance that sense of comfort, while the slender black base gives the whole piece a light and elegant appearance.
The Archiduc is an armchair that immediately catches the eye. The design balances beautifully between architectural lines and soft, organic forms, making it suitable for both contemporary interiors and more distinctly vintage or eclectic settings.
Belgian design with character, comfort, and a clear signature. Details:
