About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This is a decorative sculpture crafted from solid travertine, presenting a strong architectural form. The piece is defined by its repeating arch motif, creating a sense of depth and rhythm within a compact, monolithic object.
The sculpture is carved from a single block of natural travertine, a form of limestone celebrated for its fibrous, porous texture. Its distinct beige coloration and matte, unpolished surface highlight the organic pits and voids inherent to the stone, ensuring that each piece possesses a unique character. The design consists of a series of concentric, stepped arches, which gives the object a sculptural quality that interacts with light and shadow.
In as-new condition, the sculpture's integrity is pristine, with its appearance determined solely by the natural characteristics of the travertine from which it is made. The tactile surface and substantial weight give it a pleasing hand-feel, reinforcing its connection to natural materials and elemental forms.
This arch sculpture is well-suited for display on a bookshelf, console, or as a sophisticated paperweight on a desk. Its clean lines and natural material palette make it a versatile addition to interiors ranging from Organic Modern and Minimalist to classic contemporary spaces.
