Artist Aone T. Postma

Postma 1963 is a visual artist living in The Hague, originally Frisian. Postma studied Graphic Design at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague in the late 1980s. After a stay of eighteen months in India for various visual arts internships, he settled again in The Hague and opened his studio in Boekhorststraat. In the 1990s and the first decade of the 21st century, Postma regularly had successful exhibitions of paintings in various Dutch galleries. He has not exhibited in recent years. Postma is also a teacher of Visual Arts and Art History in secondary education.
His work is difficult to qualify, it is often magically realistic in atmosphere with many allegorical references. His work expresses melancholy and poetry.
