Unique work by Anton Heyboer painted in the period around 1990 and signed by the artist. A beautiful, colorful chicken in large format. Mixed technique with acrylic paint and chalk on handmade paper. Framed with passe-partout in a wooden silver frame. The price includes the frame and passe-partout Size of the print: W 100 cm x H 70 cm. The size of the framed print with passe-partout and frame is W 135 cm x H 105 cm. Anton Heyboer's Chicken is actually a rooster: 'the proclaimer'. For Anton especially the proclaimer of truth. But you could just as well call it a primal bird, because it is an archetype, one of the innate images of man, but also of many animals. Every animal feels that danger is imminent, when suddenly it is quiet in the forest and you no longer hear birds. As a result, the bird is also an image of the free spirit: able to fly and often colorful.
