Antique, French mirror, with gilded frame, Circa 1830. The mirror is from the early 19th century period. It is an original period piece not a style piece made later. It is specifically from the French restoration period ( 1814-1830) The period began when Napoleon abdicated the throne and the Bourbon monarchs ( Louis XVIII) were restored to the throne of France. The design and patterns are typical of the era. The frame is made of wood and coated with " Stuc" / Gesso and has carved floral decors at the corners, sides, top and bottom ( see photos) Mirror is in overall good original condition for a nearly 200 years old piece with some signs and marks of age and time on the overall structure, frame and mirror ( see multiples photos). Frame of mirror may have regilded at some point in the past. The re are no cracks or chips on the mirror. A couple of old marks on the actual mirror.( See photos).
