Antique bistro set comprising a round wrought iron table with a galvanized steel top and two folding chairs made of metal and wooden slats.
The table likely dates from the interwar period (1920s–1940s). The folding chairs are more recent, from the mid-20th century. The set has a beautiful patina, with several layers of old paint, signs of wear, and oxidation that give it considerable charm and authenticity.
The tabletop, heavily marked by time, almost evokes a lunar surface, making it a very decorative piece.
Light restoration work carried out:
The table was sanded and then protected with a high-resistance, rust-resistant outdoor varnish. The chairs were sanded, partially repainted, and protected with a clear wood varnish. One chair has a slightly curved slat and an old paint drip.
This set is ideal for a balcony, terrace, or garden, in the style of a Parisian bistro or country house.
