About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is an antique Persian cushion, made of wool and characterized by its authentic appearance. The piece stands out due to its traditional, handcrafted nature and the rich, geometric patterns typical of Persian textiles. The cushion is designed differently on two sides. The front features a complex, diamond-shaped pattern in a palette of deep red, blue, beige, and brown. The back has a simpler, striped kilim design in similar earthy tones. Decorative tassels are attached at the corners, contributing to the traditional aesthetic of the object. The overall condition of the cushion is consistent with its considerable age. It shows a lived-in character and a patina resulting from years of use, which adds to its historical charm. The structure of the cushion has remained intact. This decorative cushion can serve as a floor cushion or as an atmospheric accent on a sofa, armchair, or daybed. It fits perfectly into an interior with Bohemian, rustic, or eclectic influences, where it adds texture and a sense of worldly history.
