Product description
Authentic wooden shuttle, used for handweaving on a traditional loom. This type of shuttle was moved back and forth between the warp threads and contains the shuttle for the weft thread in the center.
The object is made of hardwood with an iron/steel shuttle guide and a turned wooden knob. Date: late 19th – first half of the 20th century. Origin: Western Europe (Netherlands / Belgium / Germany / France).
The shuttle is in good used condition, with normal signs of wear consistent with its age and function. No breaks or restorations. Mechanically complete.
