Product description
Antique trapezoidal wooden wall display case with a glass door adorned with a carved wooden lattice and two glazed side panels. Three removable shelves.
It retains its original patina, showing signs of wear, slight movement of the structure, and losses due to past pest infestations (all now stabilized and sound); the base board has ink stains on the inside.
It is fitted with a screw-ring mounting system on the back. The parquet flooring is in its original condition, with a slight separation in the middle.
The entire piece is original, except for the three removable shelves.
Both simple and delicate, this display case evokes the architecture of Rembrandt's Amsterdam, with its pediments and small-paned window frames.
