Vintage solid wood shoemaker's last, made in the mid-20th century. Before shoes left the workshop, they took shape on this robust piece, today imbued with all the memory of artisanal craftsmanship. Shaped according to the silhouette of a right foot, it is marked with 42, corresponding to its shoe size. Its elongated line retains the precision of a true professional tool. The upper part features its central cut-out and removable element. A darker piece of wood reinforces the heel, while a metal plate remains underneath to protect the last during the shoemaker's work. The many small holes, marks, and visible traces in the wood directly attest to its use. Each imprint recalls the tacks, the worked leather, and the repeated movements in the workshop. The patinated wood offers warm tones and a lively surface. Sold individually, this right foot last retains an authentic, simple, and deeply evocative character. Vintage condition with marks, tack holes, and traces of use related to its function. Length approximately 27 cm.
