Antique washstand with basin | ca. 1900
Beautiful antique washstand (washstand) from the late 19th/early 20th century. This piece was once used for washing, in a time before running water. The original ceramic basin is still present.
The piece is made of solid wood and has a warm patina with beautiful details. The flap opens onto the basin; there is storage space underneath. A unique piece with character.
Perfect as:
- statement piece in a hallway or bedroom
- unique bedside table
- decorative furniture in a bathroom or dressing room
There is a small crack in the basin.
