Product description
Antique wash set (or toilet set) produced by the Faïencerie de Nimy from Belgium, dating from the Art Deco period (around the 1920s). The set consists of a large wash jug (water jug), a matching washbasin (bowl), two original oval toilet or soap dishes with lids, and it is made of white earthenware decorated with a characteristic geometric Scottish plaid pattern (tartan/plaid) in green and burgundy red. The bottom bears the stamp Manufacture Impériale en Royale. Nimy. Made in Belgium. 32 x 32 x 25 cm. The lid of the long soap dish has a hairline crack but it is not broken.
