We present this spectacular antique solid walnut wardrobe, crafted in Italy during the mid-19th century (Louis-Philippe period).
Its dimensions make this wardrobe incredibly versatile. Free from excessive ornamentation, it stands out for its simple, clean lines. The walnut wood—with its beautiful grain and warm hue—is the piece's finest feature. A distinctive detail is found in the two turned decorative elements on the front, which create a subtle visual accent and break up the linear design. The unit rests on turned "onion" feet, typical of the 19th century.
The wood boasts a stunning, warm medium-light brown tone; combined with its clean lines, this makes it easy to integrate into both classic period interiors and modern spaces where a standout piece is desired.
Functionally, the interior features a hanging rail for garments. The internal layout can be customized to suit your needs—we can add shelves for you, but please let us know before placing your order. At the bottom, there is a drawer providing extra storage space.
The wardrobe is in excellent condition; we have carried out a conservative restoration that preserves its antique charm while ensuring it is ready for your home. It is the perfect choice for a rustic or classic-style bedroom, yet it also makes a striking statement in a spacious entryway or serves as a captivating, contrasting element in a modern setting.
Important: The wardrobe will be shipped disassembled. Assembly is not included. We can provide a video demonstrating the assembly process. Please note that for shipments to the United States—and often within the European Union as well—we use carriers such as FedEx or DHL. Delivery is made via a wooden crate, which is left curbside at the entrance; any handling required after delivery is your responsibility.
