Elegant antique glazed ceramic vase, made in Italy, bearing the inscription "ITALY" on the base, along with a numbered mark.
The piece has a beautiful flared shape with two side handles, a wavy neck highlighted with a dark blue band, and a foot also accented with blue.
The body, in a lovely ivory/cream hue, is entirely decorated with a hand-painted polychrome floral design: roses in various shades of pink and red, blue and orange flowers, green foliage, and small black plant motifs.
The handcrafted nature of the decoration is particularly appealing: the brushstrokes, slight variations in pattern, and irregularities in the glaze give the piece an authentic and charming appearance.
Its antique/vintage condition shows normal signs of age and use, including wear to the glaze around the base, and small chips and losses to some areas on the underside. These imperfections are visible in the photographs and contribute to the antique, handcrafted character of the piece.
