Product description
This antique shepherd's chest, crafted around 1900, is a unique item full of character and history. The design is characterized by a robust wooden construction with a striking diamond pattern on the lid, reflecting the craftsmanship of that period. The chest is made entirely of solid wood in a warm brown tone, contributing to its authentic appearance. The original iron fittings and the functioning lock with key have been preserved, emphasizing the historical value of the object. The construction displays traditional wood joints and hand-carved details along the edges. The chest is in good condition, befitting its age and original use. Over the years, the wood has developed a rich patina, enhancing the character of this antique piece of furniture. The original finish and fittings are intact. This piece of furniture looks excellent in a rustic or classic interior. It can serve as a decorative element in a hallway or living room, or as functional storage space at the foot of a bed.
