An antique Tibetan bronze sculpture depicting a standing Avalokiteshvara, the bodhisattva of compassion within Mahayana Buddhism. The slender, elegant figure exhibits the balanced posture and spiritual presence characteristic of historic Himalayan devotional art. Crafted from bronze, the statue measures 25 centimetres in height and 8.5 centimetres in width. The surface retains clear remnants of historic gilding, which have integrated with the naturally aged patina over time. The interior and surface wear support a probable dating to the late 19th or early 20th century.
