Wear commensurate with age and use. This Japanese low tansu was made during the Taishō period (1912–1926), a time of quiet transition in everyday Japanese life. Without major breaks from tradition, domestic interiors gradually evolved: spaces became more flexible and furniture began to better respond to practical, everyday use.
