Antique Beauvais stoneware tobacco jar with a pewter lid, a 19th-century stoneware snuff bottle glazed with Beauvais salt. The decoration features a rotating image of a woman taking snuff.
In good condition, the pewter lid is slightly domed but not pierced and screws securely onto the jar. There is a small chip on one facet (near the nose of the woman taking snuff).
