Antique Beauvais stoneware tobacco jar with a pewter lid, and a 19th-century Beauvaisis salt-glazed stoneware snuffbox. The decoration, which wraps around the jar, depicts a woman taking snuff.
In good condition, the pewter lid is slightly domed but not pierced and screws securely onto the jar. There is a small chip on one facet (near the woman's nose).
