An antique solid wood kitchen and dining table, belonging to our family and presumably dating back to the second half of the 19th century.
The table retains a beautiful natural patina and the character it has acquired over time. The frame is entirely made of wood, with a solid board top, four turned legs, and two drawers: one on the long side and a second on the short side.
The undertop and drawers also feature traditional wood construction, including their runners.
The table is solid and perfectly usable. The surfaces intentionally retain signs of its long history: the top features wood cracks, stains, rings, scratches, and natural color variations, all visible in the photographs and consistent with the age and use of the piece.
There are no recent restorations: the table therefore retains its aged appearance and patina, without having been artificially restored to like-new condition.
Its size still makes it highly versatile today: it can be used as a kitchen or dining table and is particularly suited to rustic settings and country homes, but also as a contrasting antique piece in contemporary decor.
