Beautiful antique English stool, also known as a ‘Joint Stool’, crafted from solid oak, with turned legs and wood joints secured with square pegs, 19th century or earlier, unmarked. Authentic antique object with a wonderful patina of use, characterful signs of wear in the right places; the object has only become more beautiful! This stool is in excellent antique condition, with signs of age and use consistent with the age and material, such as cracks in the wood formed over the many years and signs of wear on the seat, but the object still looks fantastic; check the photos for more details!
