Antique side table / table 17th century – 21st century – by Pimms Design
17th-century tabletop on a new steel base.
A unique design by Pimms Design.
To place absolute emphasis on the truly fantastic tabletop, the decision was deliberately made to keep the surface as free as possible. Consequently, a steel support surface has been omitted, but the 4 legs fit into custom-milled holes in the underside of the tabletop. As a result, the tabletop appears to almost float.
Due to its age of several hundred years, the tabletop has acquired a stunningly beautiful grain pattern. The tabletop tells a story. Over the years, the tabletop has warped, meaning it is not straight, for example. This was deliberately not corrected; the base has been flawlessly adapted to it. Otherwise, the story of the tabletop would suddenly no longer make sense.
There is only one of these tables, a unique design piece custom-made by Pimms Design.

Height 83 cm. The height can be lowered if desired!
